Passing out review for the Ecology Test that will take place on Friday, October 12th. This will be due on Monday, October 8th. I've attached a copy of the review below. You may skip questions 1, 21, and 22 since we have not covered the vocabulary term 'niche'.
Thursday & Friday-
Our class will be split for the remainder of the week. Some students will be going to Circle B Ranch on Thursday and others will attend Friday's trip. The students that are in class either day will be working on finishing the review for the Ecology Test next week and a Prezi, outlined below. (Click the button "Test Review" above to download a copy of this review).
*In the Symbiosis Prezi (Due October, 10th) students will need to:
1. Define symbiosis.
2. Define the following three types of symbiotic relationships- Mutualism, Parasitism, and Commensalism.
3. Give FOUR original examples of EACH relationship, this means that you may not use examples from your class notes or worksheets, (four examples of mutualism, four examples of parasitism, and four examples of commensalism).
4. You will also need to include pictures for your examples and EXPLAIN why the examples you chose are classified in that symbiotic relationship. *Example: A lion and a zebra would be classified as having a predator vs prey relationship, (predation) because, the lion as the predator will hunt the zebra as its prey and consume it as food.
